The week before Wednesday August 22, Kim Weston shopped for his 1st Fall Dinner Series held at Hotel 1110. We had such a fun time going to the local establishments like: Monterey Fish CO. on Monterey Wharf #2 for calamari, Pezzini Farms in Castroville for artichokes for the frittata, Carmel Farmers Market for our herbs - open May through September in the Barnyard Shopping Village, Salumeria Luca for the pasta - located next to Luca's Restaurant in Carmel. We ordered small cocktail oysters from Neal at Morro Bay Oyster CO. Kim made the Limoncello and Lemon Basil Sorbet from our garden lemons and he cooked up a huge batch of Sicilian meatballs. Stay tuned for the slideshow from the dinner.
