Private Photography Workshop
Careyes, Jalisco Mexico
In October we traveled to Careyes, Mexico to commemorate Edward Weston and Tina Modotti's time togethor in Mexico! We met up with photographers Maryam Eisler; London, Miguel Soler-Roig; Spain and Paula Guimaraes; Portugal to work on a project celebrating the time Edward and Tina were in Mexico together. Paula graciously hosted us at her villa, Quinto Sol on the beautiful coast of Jalisco.
She invited us to photograph at the most amazing villas in the community where she lives. For me the most exhilarating experience was riding the 4 wheel Polaris on the beach, it was so open, wild and you felt such a sense of freedom! We had an amazing time on this adventure and it was full of inspiration, experimentation and playfulness! The group took many amazing photographs. The result of our work will be exhibited in Mexico during 2020. We also traveled to Mexico City and met Pedro Diego Alvarado - Diego Rivera’s grandson! More about that in another post coming soon.
