This beautiful silver gelatin photograph was taken in the Hotel Jules Cesar, a former 17th century Carmelite convent which is now a hotel of character which combines elements of the 18th century with contemporary art, without forgetting its past. The renovation of the hotel was spearheaded by renowned fashion designer Christian Lacroix. We were visiting Lucien Clergue and Katharine Cooper, Lucien's printer at the time. It is such a cool hotel. So many colors, textures and style! What a great visit it was. Plus photos of our visit to the Arlesienne Chapel of Charity where we took in an exhibition by Christian Lacroix.
