The September POM "In Dali's Shadow" was taken in the famous Salvador Dali Museum in Figueres, Spain. The museum is such an amazing space and we were so lucky to spend a morning there. It was exciting, whimsical and such a privilege to be able to photograph in the museum. We had 4 talented models and we moved from room to room sharing the space with each other. It was challenging to arrive at a location and have a limited amount of time to look and make a photo. The various collections of the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí include all types of works of art: paintings, drawings, sculptures, engravings, installations, holograms, stereoscopes, photography, etc. Of them, some 1,500 are on exhibition at the Dalí Theatre-Museum in Figueres. 2016 August POM - Nude on Gaudi Rooftop, Barcelona

The August POM "Nude on Gaudi Rooftop" was taken on the rooftop of Casa Mila, "La Padrera" in the very early morning. It is probably one of the most famous buildings of the "Catalan Modernisme" or Catalan Art Nouveau period. Today it's a creative space, a cultural center which hosts art exhibitions and connects present and future lines of thought. It's a learning space, where knowledge and learning are keys to the construction of a rich dynamic society. Casa Mila also offers accessible resources and services in its spaces and amenities. The 2016 July POM, "Nude in Bliss" was taken at Tio Pepe Winery in Jerez De LA Frontera, Spain! We spent the day touring, tasting, photographing and eating at one of the most famous sherry wineries in world - Bodegas Tio Pepe.

2016 June POM - Nude in Dali Museum, Figueres

The 2016 Nude in Dali Museum was taken in the Dali Museum in Figueres, Spain. The Dalí Theatre and Museum, is a museum of the artist Salvador Dalí in his home town of Figueres, in Catalonia, Spain. Dali is buried there in a crypt below the stage. We spent a morning in Dali's Museum with Migel Soler-Roig and our Spain Photo workshop group. We photographed with 4 amazing models in one of the most interesting creative museums in the world. While we were there we were so amazed and delighted and looking back it seems like a dream. Look at the window in this one room with the figure mimicking Dali's own sculpture. There was so much to take in. It was dark in many of the rooms, which was a challenge for Kim and his film camera. But he managed to create several wonderful iconic photographs on this trip! The Nude in Dali Museum is available until June 30th at the special offer of $300. Kim and I want to wish you all a happy and very prosperous New Year. 2015 was a very exciting year with many workshops and travels to Barcelona Spain, Shanghai China, and Paris France. We want to take this time to thank all of you that have supported us in so many ways these past years. I have said it before but will say it again and again. Thank you for buying our photographs. We are excited to announce the 2016 Print of the Month Portfolio! This year's selection will be from our 2014-2015 Spain Nude Photo Workshops. The first nude photography workshop was in Andalusia, Spain, 2014 and the 2nd nude workshop was held in Barcelona, Spain, 2015. It has been almost 4 weeks since we returned from Paris, France. We planned our trip there to coincide with The 2015 Paris Photo. We were there during the terrorist attacks that occurred on the evening of Friday the 13th. It was an eery night, as we were sitting at the Mini Palais finishing dinner, everyone including our friends, started getting texts and phone calls. We were told about the terrorist attacks and that the attack was over but we needed to leave the restaurant right away as we were in a high profile target area. The Mini Palais is located in the Grand Palais where Paris Photo was held. Here are some photographs from the Paris Photo show. I have many more of our trip but they will come later. We hope you enjoy them. Thank you to everyone who reached out to us while we were in Paris! We felt the love pouring out. :)

We hope you enjoy the last and final print for the "2016 Print of the Month Portfolio". We thought this was a perfect photograph to finish off this series from Paris, France. We are going back to Paris in a few days! It's so exciting, we can't wait to see all of our friends, relax, photograph and go to Paris Photo again.The November Print of the Month "Nude in Arles" was taken in the beautifully remodeled Hotel Jules César in Arles France. October was a very busy month, with a Desert Nude Workshop with Mark Comon and a sold out Nude Photography Workshop here at Wildcat Hill and several One on One Workshops. It was pretty late in the year for our workshop at home and we were a little worried about the light, but it turned out to be perfect weather and we had a great time. Thanks to everyone that joined us and a special thanks to our wonderful models! Next year's 2016 Nude Photography Workshop schedule will be up very soon.

2015 September Print of the Month and Arles!

This beautiful silver gelatin photograph was taken in the Hotel Jules Cesar, a former 17th century Carmelite convent which is now a hotel of character which combines elements of the 18th century with contemporary art, without forgetting its past. The renovation of the hotel was spearheaded by renowned fashion designer Christian Lacroix. We were visiting Lucien Clergue and Katharine Cooper, Lucien's printer at the time. It is such a cool hotel. So many colors, textures and style! What a great visit it was. Plus photos of our visit to the Arlesienne Chapel of Charity where we took in an exhibition by Christian Lacroix. 2015 July Print of the Month

The July Print of the Month was made on our 2013 visit to France. This specially priced 8x10 photograph is available for $300 for the month of July. We are in the midst of a busy summer here in Carmel. So far this year, we have taught 3 Studio Nude Photography Workshops at our home. We are meeting so many new photographers and spending time with former workshop participants. We have been having a great time. The next few months are starting to fill up with The One on One Photography Workshops that Kim is teaching, they are very popular!

Kim and I have been back to photographing in the studio! Its been super fun. Can't wait to share them with you all! We are working on several new videos too!

Kim is going to the Shanghai Photo Festival in China this September and when he returns, we head straight out to teach The Desert Resort Figure Workshop on October 1-6, 2015. Only 2 spots left for this workshop! Or maybe you can come to Wildcat Hill for our Fall (Wildcat Studio) Weston Nude Photography Workshop on October 23-25, 2015. Plenty of photographic opportunities ahead!

2015 June Print of the Month

The June Print of the Month was also made on our 2013 visit to France. We are moving right along with our POM's this year. Already in the 6th month - half way through. May was a busy month. After returning from Barcelona we came directly home to judge our 2015 Weston Scholarship Portfolio Contest - to hanging the show in the Marjorie's Evans Gallery to giving the awards to the recipients. Then straight into our first Wildcat Studio Nude which was a blast and then hosting another workshop 2 weeks later. We met some new photographers and saw some old friends too. The workshop was amazing with enough time to produce some excellent images. They have been coming to me by email and I hope to share some soon. Our next Wildcat Studio Nude Workshop here at the house is October 23-25.

We have another really cool workshop that you may be interested in attending - Desert Resort Figure Workshop coming up October 1-6, 2015, it's in Desert Hot Springs. We are going to take over the whole resort at Anahata Hot Springs (serene mineral water spa) and make it our own private studio set, there is a pool and hot mineral pool there too. We could do some cool underwater photography amongst other fun things! In the afternoon we will go and photograph out in Joshua Tree National Park. Why don't you join us? We would love to have you. It will be 4 days of creative, collaborative fun!
