2015 September Print of the Month and Arles!

This beautiful silver gelatin photograph was taken in the Hotel Jules Cesar, a former 17th century Carmelite convent which is now a hotel of character which combines elements of the 18th century with contemporary art, without forgetting its past. The renovation of the hotel was spearheaded by renowned fashion designer Christian Lacroix. We were visiting Lucien Clergue and Katharine Cooper, Lucien's printer at the time. It is such a cool hotel. So many colors, textures and style! What a great visit it was. Plus photos of our visit to the Arlesienne Chapel of Charity where we took in an exhibition by Christian Lacroix. Spain Workshop and THE RENCONTRES D'ARLES 2014

Our 2014 Spain Andalusia Workshop with Miguel Soler-Roig was concluded one week ago. We photographed and visited so many wonderful places and stayed in paradores all over Spain. This was an experience we will never forget. Madrid, Jaén, Ronda, the Alhambra in Granada, Sotogrande, Seville and more! The weather was perfect, we brought our models Larva and Sara with us, met new friends and spent time with previous workshop participants. This was by far the best workshop locations and the best accommodations you could ask for. More photos to come.
